Uncensored: Exploring Intellectual Freedom in Creative Work was a one-night-only Works In Progress Louisiana (WIPLA) fundraiser event held on March 17, 2016, at minicine? in downtown Shreveport.
The unique performance/visual/sound show drew an impressive crowd of over 120 art collectors, performers, songwriters, poets, painters, sculptors, and patrons.
North Louisiana creative professionals earned $3,250.00 in art sales during the one-night event.
WIPLA charged no entry fee or commission on art sales - but attendees and artists chose to donate over $1,500.00 to support our grant program for creative professionals!
100% of the donations received at WIPLA's Uncensored event were granted to North Louisiana musician Julieann Banks to fund production of her new album project.
North Louisiana fine art photographer Mary Catherine Rollo generously donated her services to WIPLA for the evening. Click here to see M.C. Rollo's fantastic images from the Uncensored fundraiser!
