Noma has a degree in art from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, but she spent a vast amount of volunteer hours in the drama department working on shows. She was a partner in Baton Rouge Alternative Theatre (BRAT.) She writes, mostly poetry, and has been published in various compilations. She is a SRAC Fellow in
Multi-Disciplinary Art, and managed the Shreveport Farmer's Market for several years. She's married to Chris, and they have a grown son, Graeme.
